Middle School Wrap-up

I've enjoyed our times together. I do appreciate the attention you've shown during class and hope you have gotten something meaningful out of it. Learning is an iterative process - that is, we have to do it over and over, and each time we get more out of it.

World View
Here is the graphic snapshot of the slide that shows how our Western culture has "progressed" (really, more like regressed):

Where Are They At?
We talked about the importance of gauging where your friends are at in their relationship to accepting Christ, the validity of the scriptures, and the Christian world-view.

Not All Pre-Believers are in the Same Place

Subjective vs. Objective Witness
It is extremely important that we have experienced what it is we are talking about. If we don't know Christ then we cannot share Him with others. That experience results in a subjective experience. However, it is also very important that we look for and share the objective evidences of Christ, the Bible, and the Christian world-view. Otherwise, we become indistinguishable from other groups (such as the LDS/Mormons as shown above) in the world's eyes.

A special thanks to Meekness & Truth for the above graphics! Please visit that website for lots more about sharing your faith in a reasonable way with your friends, co-workers, and family members.
